| MaxLight 90° is the first truly lateral, all quartz fiber. The design exploits our proprietary numerical aperture (NA) compression technology for Total Internal Reflection (TIR) at higher angles than previously possible. The resulting output is virtually indistinguishable from an axial fiber's output -- near 100% transmission efficiency in a round spot of low divergence. As such, the fiber is extraordinarily 'hot' and is an exceptional tissue vaporization tool. | |
