Product Description
The Maxxis™ 400 is a bariatric bed system which helps provide comfort and safety for individuals in the home care setting

INDICATIONS:
Patients weighing up to 1000 lbs. (or combined weight of 2)
Healthcare frame accommodating one or two individuals, depending on frame size selected


CONTRAINDICATION:
Total weight in excess of 1000 lbs. (including accessories)

PRECAUTION:
Side Rails and Restraints - Use or non-use of restraints, including side rails, can be critical to patient safety. WARNING: Serious injury or death can result from the use (potential entrapment) or non-use (potential patient falls) of side rails or other restraints
Patient Migration - As with all specialty bed products that are designed to reduce shear and pressure on the patient’s skin, the risk of gradual movement and/or sinking into hazardous positions of entrapment and/or inadvertent bed exit may be increased.
Skeletal Traction - With skeletal traction, use care to guard against risks of patient migration or inadvertent deflation of air surface.
Maintain angle of articulation through hand control lock out feature for unstable cervical, thoracic and/or lumbar fractures.
