DyNA Quant™ 200 is a fixed wavelength fluorometer for 365 nm excitation and 460 nm emission. The spectral characteristics are specifically designed for the detection of double-stranded DNA using the standard Hoechst 33258 dye binding assay, which minimizes interference from the presence of protein, RNA, and nucleotide contaminants.
