A compact air gel-drying system, Hoefer’s Easy Breeze can dry as many as 6 standard gels (20 x 20 cm) or 24 Mini-Gels (8 x 10 cm) at a time.
- Comes with everything you need: an open air drying oven, a specially designed loading platform, and two Hoefer Gel Frames. No vacuum pump, no cold trap, no awkward connections.
- The Gel Frame is largely responsible for the smooth, flat, wrinkle-free gels produced in Easy Breeze. Comes with two frames. If you wish to use more, the drying oven will accommodate up to six.
- The two parts of the frame fit together like an embroidery hoop. The shape is a rounded square that echoes the gel shape and offers the maximum drying area.
- Easy to load. Place the inner part of the Gel Frame on the loading platform, lay down a wetted cellophane sheet, then the gel, and finally another cellophane sheet. Set down the outer frame and lock with quarter turns of the knobs. O-ring gasket and easy-to-turn knobs make closure easy and ensure a uniform drum-tight fit.
- Slide the Gel Frames into the open air drying oven, turn on the unit (Low = 40 ºC, High = approx. 50 ºC), and let the warm breeze blow over the top and bottom of each frame. No need to monitor the unit. Most gels dry in 2 to 3 hours.
