| wCareCollect™ improves the specimen collection process. A scan of the barcoded wristband displays patient information on the handheld at the bedside. An online collection list is provided for the specific patient. Collection status information can be shared between Nursing and the Lab which can reduce redraws, enhancing patient comfort, and making the laboratory collection process safer and more efficient.
Specimen labels are generated at the bedside by small portable printers. This ensures that the correct labels are attached to the correct specimen containers. | |
