A bar code-based nursery control system, Neo-Link allows the hospital to compare and verify identity of those people authorized to handle newborns and NICU patients. It helps document interactions with all visitors and staff who have access to and contact with a given child patient. It also helps to reduce the chance for baby abduction by complimenting proximity security systems in which alarms are tripped if a child is taken through an unauthorized exit.
