The CSV-1000CVA20/30 test face provides three contrast levels (high, 9.5 % and 6%) of LogMAR acuity from 20/16 to 20/100. This test is designed to detect very subtle changes in vision, such as associated with contact lens evaluation or due to refractive surgery. The upper two rows of the test provide the same contrast and acuity levels as the lower two rows; different groups of letters are used in these sections so that each section can be used to test the different eyes.
Patients should have 20/30 or better vision to be evaluated with this test face. If patient vision is worse than 20/30 visual acuity, use of the CSV-1000CVA or CSV-1000ETDRS 10% is recommended for testing.
