Cuff design displaces tissue up and away from orifice and leaflets allowing for leaflet preservation. Titanium stiffening ring allows rotatability in-situ to minimize possible interference with subvalvular anatomy and minimizes the possibility of leaflet lock-up or escape. Low profile pivot design minimizes protrusion into low flow atrial area, reducing potential for thrombus formation. They are applied in mitral valve replacement using mitral leaflet preservation procedures, double valve replacement and MIS procedures.
