| The Flu A/B ASR contains primers and a FAM-labeled probe that is designed to detect Flu A and an Alexa 532-labeled probe to detect Flu B. In addition, this ASR contains primers and a Texas Redlabeled probe for a separate sample processing control. This ASR requires an instrument that can detect FAM, Alexa 532 and Texas Red reporter dyes such as the Cepheid SmartCycler® System. The Cepheid Analyte Specific Reagent* (ASR) program is comprised of a series of easy-to-use primer and probe sets in a convenient lyophilized bead format. Every ASR product is manufactured under cGMP for maximum product consistency and quality. Cepheid ASRs are also delivered with an internal control** to ensure optimum reliability by confirming that negatives are truly negative — not inhibited. Each ASR product is designed for rapid results on real-time PCR instruments like the Cepheid SmartCycler® System.
