| Bard AlloMax Surgical Graft is an all-natural biologic implant derived from human dermal collagen. It is prepared using the proven Tutoplast process with over 30 yrs experience to remove all non-collagenous cellular components. It can be used in hernia or other complex abdominal wall repair cases where a synthetic prostheses is contraindicated or inappropriate. Immersion in a sterile saline solution to the surgeon's specification is all that is required to completely hydrate the graft before use. After hydryation AlloMax can be trimmed or joined together to create a graft of appropriate size and shape. It can also be shaped to fit anatomical contours. | |
