| Autoantibodies directive against the anionic phospholipid Cardiolipin are primarily found in patients suffering from primary and secondary antiphospholipid syndrome. Those patients manifest clinical manifestations like thrombosis of veins and arteries, thrombocytopenia and recurrent fetal loss. Anti-Cardiolipin autoantibodies are found in the immunoglobulin classes IgG, IgM and/or IgA. The Anti-Cardiolipin screen assay permits a semiquantitative screening of autoantibodies against Cardiolipin. Further differentiation and typing should be carried out by using the individual test kits. All test are additionally coated with human ß2-Glycoprotein I. | |
