| Numerous ophthalmic tests require patients to keep their eyes open during testing. Maintaining an open eye is difficult for many patients for various reasons, including drooping eyelids and the natural tendency to blink. With the use of 3M adhesives, Spec-Tac™ can easily keep the eyelids and lashes wide open and out of the imaging pathway.
There are many uses for the Spec-Tac™ external eye speculum. Some of these procedures include retinal imaging, retinal injections, corneal topography, wave-front mapping, visual fields, nerve fiber analysis, contact lens fitting, and foreign body removal.
