ItemD-Line® Catheter ST - Extra-Flow (EF) Short Term Hemodialysis Catheter
Features
  • ULTRA-THIN THERMOSENSITIVE POLYURETHANE
Manufactured with a highly biocompatible material which resists kinking upon insertion; yet softens when warmed to body temperature. Radiopaque material for easy visualization during x-ray
  • SMOOTH NON-THROMBOGENIC SURFACE
Improves patient comfort and minimizes thrombosis formation
  • CONTINUOUS LUMEN
The D-Line flow path and newly designed low resistance tip delivers excellent flow rates.
  • COLOR-CODED SAFETY CLAMPS
Important information such as priming volumes and catheter length are printed on both sides of the clamps for reference after the catheter is implanted.
  • REDESIGNED TIP
The newly redesigned tip enables laminar blood flow in and out of the catheter with excellent flow rates and decreased recirculation when compared to other leading catheters.
  • SWIVELING SUTURE RING
Extra small to avoid skin irritation and allows viewing of insertion site
  • AVAILABLE IN STRAIGHT, CURVED EXTENSIONS OR CURVED EXTENSION TO ONE SIDE
Available with a variety of extension configuration for clinical ease and patient comfort Available as kit or individual catheter Packaged 5 catheters per box

Product Description
NEWLY DESIGNED FOR OPTIMIZED FLOW RATES

The turbine vane design of the arterial inflow of the catheter tip enables excellent flow rates. Even with low pressure, the design reduces flow turbulence and the risk of thrombosis. The design achieves this without the use of side holes.
The D-shaped venous lumen ends in a round tip and provides the possibility to insert this catheter with the standard Seldinger technique.
The D-shaped lumen together with the new tip design and the ultra-thin polyurethane material create a catheter with flow results normally achieved with larger diameter catheters.
The tip design provides 86% less recirculation when compared to a leading short term hemodialysis catheter.
