- Dual View™ – Now view what the patient sees in your monitor located at the Doctors desk. We display a small eye-chart running on top of your EMR system at your desk so you can see what the patient sees. No need to turn and look at the display or the need for extra hardware.
- Sine Wave Grating Contrast Testing – New sine wave grating contrast sensitivity testing to allow contrast screening from 18 cycles per degree down to 1.5 cycles with variable contrast percents.
- PowerPoint Presentation Interface – Create your own patient education and internal marketing Power Point Presentations, then select, display and control the presentation right from the Smart System.
- Secondary Calibration Distance – Seamlessly switch between 2 calibration distances on your Smart System to accommodate a clinical trial requirement, low vision patient or a person in a wheel chair.
- Protocol One™ – Create custom protocols with ease, allowing repeatable and consistent testing. Protocol One makes it easy to create protocols by age group, type of test or by Doctor, allowing for further customization.
- Distance Stereo – M&S Technologies now makes it possible to use shutter glasses with an LCD monitor for unprecedented accuracy in testing for distance stereo. Red-Green and Red-Blue anaglyph stereo testing is standard on all Smart System 2008 systems.
