Portable Pulse Oximeters Portable pulse oximeters are small, light-weight, and compact so that SpO2 measurements can be monitored anytime and anywhere (clinical environment, lab, or home). The pulse oximeter consists of a probe attached to the patient’s finger and linked to a computerized unit that displays SpO2 measurements.
