The device (tablet or handheld versions available) enables licensed health care professionals to titrate dosing of insulin, glucose, saline and other medications for patients on intravenous and subcutaneous therapy and as a result, to reach target blood glucose levels more quickly and with fewer complications than other treatment methods. The device captures data on the patient, as well as the caregivers (by attending MD, nurse, unit & hospital) that enables the provider to evaluate current delivery systems and identify opportunities for improving patient care.
